having a chill day off with my partner, talked with my partner and old roommate about work stress that makes me want to get new work soon. my uncle called and mom texted me about books she's been reading, and I was able to virtually check one of them out. I have two more books to finish soon but I'm confident I can make decent progress on both stories this week. I played Samba de Amigo for the first time. it's a maraca based rhythm game with a lot of licensed music from around the 2010s(fav being it's tubthumping remix) it feels a lot like an arcade game but is pretty fun. apparently there are dlc songs so I might try to see if I can download them through homebrew apps. last night felicity helped me beat my first full run of peak (with bing bong and without passing out!) and hung out while listening to her vocaloid playlist. I made my 1st mixed media piece that I had been thinking about making while she played dark souls. now I'm listening to a podcast about Kentucky vampires with my partner and soon after the sun is done setting we will have freshly washed laundry to get comfortable under while we watch amazing digital circus, helluva boss, and rosswood updates. this morning we woke up to check on the cat and when we both got up so early to see her in the living room she meowed so adorably like we surprised her on her birthday or something. she's being a little pesky on the rearranged living room but she seems to like the renovations as much as we do.
